Grace to Africa

The Ministry Beginnings

In 2005 Keith and Tina Miller moved to Uganda Africa. Their primary objective at that time was to bring the gospel to campus students and to plant a church among the campus community. During their 4 ½ year stay in Uganda they received numerous requests from pastors for Biblical instruction and training. In 2006, after a church was established at Makerere University, Keith conducted a weekly pastors training for those who requested it. Within a very short time the number of pastors who attended this training went from 6 to over 80. Over the course the next few years nearly 300 pastors and leaders from communities in and around Kampala attended.

The take away was this: While evangelism is pervasive in Uganda, what people really desire is to know the truth in God’s word and how to live the Christian life. So, rather than planting new churches, Grace to Africa focuses on training current and future church leaders. The ministry and life skills they receive will then better equip them to be solid leaders and examples within their own congregations.

Mission

Provide solid Biblical training to church leaders and pastors so they can accurately convey the gospel message to their congregations and serve as living examples of Christ

Vision

By equipping local Christian leaders with the necessary tools to provide healthy Biblical ministry to their congregations, lives will begin to be transformed and churches solidified through the power of God’s word.
