Gospel Liturgy

We hope that what you notice most about us is our love for Jesus. We have a simple gospel order to our service which has a goal of pointing ourselves to Jesus. Together we address the story of the good news of Jesus by singing songs, reading scripture (sometimes in unison), hearing preaching, and taking communion every Sunday together (at the end of each service).

Music

We sing old and new hymns as well as praise choruses. our style is contemporary varying from folk, blues, and rock instrumentation. But, our most important instrument are the voices of the people.

Gospel Liturgy

The Lord’s Day worship service is the high point of our life together. God gathers His people to worship Him through His Word, and we center our service on the glory of Christ.

Our worship follows a simple, gospel-shaped order from Scripture. Each week we rehearse the good news of Jesus through praise, confession, assurance of grace, the reading and preaching of the Word, prayer, song, and the Lord’s Supper, that Christ may be exalted and His people strengthened in faith.

Bible Based Preaching

We believe the scriptures are God’s way of speaking His truth to us. Sermon series are generally walking through books of the bible; verse by verse.

Bible Based Preaching

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative Word. Through faithful preaching, God convicts, strengthens, and conforms His people to Christ.

We regularly preach expositional sermons, working through books of the Bible verse by verse, so the whole counsel of God shapes our thinking, worship, and life.

Children

We offer childcare from infants – 5th grade. Check-in is in the lower level which can be done before service. After checking in, children will attend the song service with parents upstairs and then will dismiss during the brief greeting time following our music portion of the service.

We also have a cry room available for parents who may want to keep their little ones with them but are just having a grumpy day (we mean the infants). Cry room has audio and viewing glass in back of auditorium for parents to still be a part of the service.
